The “Slinger” Nesting 2 piece shell pack includes a 12″x20″ Bass Drum with a mounted cymbal arm, and a 10″x16″ Floor Tom. This compact drum kit offers the best in portability with the bass drum and the floor tom both easily detached in the middle to store or “nest” the other drums. The bass drum nest’s the floor tom. These are pro drums which include 8 ply Keller maple shells, die cast lugs, 2.3 mm triple flanged hoops 45% bearing edges and Evans heads. We also offer this kit in a 12″ x 18″ bass drum if you prefer and a 10″x14″ floor tom. Available colors are ebony (as shown)Red Mahogany, ebony or burnt orange stain and clear maple finish. Just got my two piece ebony nesting kit and I’m truly amazed. Originally bought this for small gigs with an acoustic band I play with where space is at a minimum and volume needs to be controlled. After playing it I’m amazed at how big the sound is. I could very easily mic this kit and play it in my rock band. The sound is really good and the craftsmanship is as good as my custom SJC kit. The stained ebony with maple hoops looks better in person than it does on the website. I ordered the two piece kit but will probably be adding the 10” rack tom soon. I can carry all the drums plus my snare (in its case) inside one Ahead bag. No multiple trips when loading in at venues that lack a nearby loading zone. Very impressed with the communication. I had a couple of questions before ordering. After leaving a message Jim called me back that day while he was on vacation! He even texted me a pic before shipping it out.
